The case for clitoral crafting
At Hormonally, we believe that learning about your body should be engaging, empowering, and fun. Our sold-out Cliteral Crafting event at the Vagina Museum proved others want this too!
While participants decorated their 3D clitoris models, the Hormonally team shared essential education to help crafters better understand their anatomical health.
Vulvovaginal education saves lives
Vulvovaginal health is closely connected to a wide range of conditions and can serve as an early indicator of cervical cancer, hormone imbalances, and perimenopause and menopause.
When we understand our anatomy, we feel less ashamed and more empowered to speak with healthcare providers, which in turn helps more people reach an early and accurate diagnosis.
Introducing the Vulva Map
Sadly, vulvovaginal pain is often dismissed or misdiagnosed, which can lead to serious health consequences, including delayed cancer detection. To address this, we created the Vulva Map.
Developed in collaboration with Dr Sarah Cigna, Director of the Sexual Health and Gender Affirmation Center, and Dr Katy Dumas from George Washington University Hospital, the Vulva Map helps to improve diagnostic accuracy while strengthening patient-provider communication.
Medical experts are already putting it to good use:
”Despite years of practice as a gynecologist, I have never come across truly accurate anatomical resources, until I found Hormonally’s Vulva Map.
I now use it every day to help my patients understand the origins of their chronic pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction.

Partnership opportunities
Centuries of stigma have left many women feeling disconnected from their own bodies, avoiding life-saving smear tests or never even looking at their vulva. But as Hormonally’s Cliteral Crafting workshop showed, with the right educational tools (and a touch of glitter), we can dismantle shame and create joyful, stigma-free spaces for learning.
If you believe in a future where every woman feels confident and informed about her body, you can partner with Hormonally to sponsor or co-host a Cliteral Crafting event, or we can develop a custom workshop that speaks to the priorities of your brand or organization. Creative, embodied learning experiences do more than communicate essential information – they foster critical awareness that can catalyse systemic change. We invite you to support this vital work in shaping a more equitable future for health.
