I had the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with Hormone-Ally Maggie who was kind enough to share her fertility journey. Following seven rounds of Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI), four embryo transfers, one chemical pregnancy, a miscarriage, and Dilation and Curettage (D&C) Maggie decided to undergo a myomectomy to have a small fibroid removed. While Maggie doesn’t know for sure if her fibroid was the missing link in her pregnancy process, following her procedure, Maggie became pregnant with her now 8-month old daughter Lily!

Many women like Maggie struggle to have their fibroid concerns taken seriously, with symptoms often dismissed if their fibroid is small. Maggie’s journey is a true testament to knowing your body and for advocating for your needs when you know something is not right. For more information about fibroids head over to our resource here.
